Hugues Fanal

Hugues Fanal is the National Director of the Belgian League for Bird Protection (LRBPO) and the Chairman of the Eurogroup Against BirdCrime (EABC). He’s born in 1965 and is working for LRBPO since 1993.He discovered nature very early and became a nature photographer.

The LRBPO was created in 1922 and is very active in bird protection and nature conservation in Belgium and in Europe. The association owns several natural reserves and coordinates the Centres of rehabilitation for wild birds and animals (CROH) which receive more than 20.000 animals each year.
